I went with camel for today. Camel used to freak me out, more so than wheel. I was always way too tense to really relax into it. My neck and throat would lock up, it would give me a head rush, and it was just all around an uncomfortable pose. I started toying around with doing one arm camels and putting the balls of my feet on the ground so my hands didn’t have as far to go. Once I started doing that, it was easy work bending further and further back. I love camel, now it’s one that I can’t wait to do because I like seeing how much further I can bend back. Now it’s just a matter of working on my body’s flexibility, not of getting over the mental hurdle.
